Lyrics:

01 Deploy All Monsters Now! (3:25)
played by Nothing Left To Lose

Destroy...
I will date(?) the girl from Venus
that will die(?) and so will I
I will kiss the girl from Venus

02 I'm Only Humanoid (Lost In Space) (2:08)
played by Calibretto

state the current status of my sensory apparatus
got no veins, no blood running through me
only wires and electricity
(my imagination's wandering explicitly
through my wires and electricity
then i start to rocka' and i get a jolta' shocka'
and the vibes feel alive
but i know i'm really dying
(it feels pretty good but, i know it really shouldn't)
i try to fill the void but, i only get destroyed
(please don't be annoyed
it's something i can't avoid)
i say i'm only human
but i'm only humanoid!

excuses, excuses
there's so many uses
and it amazes me how You can love an android
i say i'm only human
but please kill this humanoid!

lost in space!
gone without a trace
i've got to seek Your face
lost in space!
i'm gone without a trace
oh God, i need Your grace
casting down imaginations!
(keep my mind stayed upon You!)

(words: otto, music: jonny)

03 Venus At St. Annes (2:03)
played by The Jim Achen Band

"I deny the charge. Foram-born Venus...golden
Aphrodite...Our Lady of Cyprus...I never
breathed a word against you. If I object to boys
who steal my nectarines, must I be supposed to
diapprove of nectarines in general? Or even of
boys in general? It might, you know, be steadling
that I disapprove of."
- C.S. Lewis

Up!

(music: Heat words: Otto, Staples)

04 I Like Lycanthropy (2:51)
played by Hammers To Fences

I like lycanthropy!
I like lycanthropy!
I like lycanthropy!
I like it!

Don't call it murder when I feed
It's just the nourishment I need
I cannot curb this appetite
or I'll disturb my natural plight

So what if' I'm a wolf on full moon nights
I'm still part man and I've got rights
I'm sniffin' out the blood and I take bites!

If you are walking by
and I transmogrify,
be prepared to run or die!

I like lycanthropy!
I like lycanthropy!
I like lycanthropy!
I like lycanthropy!

The wolfman is back!
Don't call it a curse.
Sticker on my car
Read it and weep
for the ones you love.
Says, "Equal Rights for WErewolves!"

I'm sniffin' out the blood and I take bites!
Why do you look at me with a look of fright?
So what if I'm a wolf on full moon nights!

If you are walking by
and I transmogrify
be prepared to run or die!
Run or die!

I like lycanthropy!
I like lycanthropy!
I like lycanthropy!
I like lycanthropy!

The wolfman in me
I like lycanthropy (He likes it! He likes it!)
The wolfman and me
I like lycanthropy (He likes it! He likes it!)
Wolf!
Claw! Bite! Sniff! Bark! Scratch! Tear! Growl!
Howl!

Like king Nebuchandezzar
You gotta' turn your eyes to Heaven
Like King Nebuchandezzar
You gotta' turn your eyes Heavenward!

There's no way for new life to begin, No!
Unless you confess and turn away from your sin
You've got to die with Jesus
to know the Resurrection
You' gotta' die, die, die with Jesus
to know the Resurrection
You gotta' die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!
with Jesus
to know Life!

I like lycanthropy!
I like it!

(The Mysteriously missing third verse:)

A chorus of Redeemed Ones shouts the truth in
unison to the werewolf:
"Your throat is an open grave!"
Our Lycanthrope Hero responds in despair:
"I know no other way to behave!"
The Redeemed Ones keep shouting in Love:
"You must repent, you Cursed Wretch!"
The werewolf snarls in defiance:
"I'll not relent. Your flesh I'll fetch!"

Despite the Lycanthrope's unrepentance,
The Crucified One Who is Lifted Up
continues to offer forgiveness to all
monstrosities who will believe on Him.

(music: Mr. Hands words: Bot)

05 Gimme A Fright (1:28)
played by The Tuffingtons

walking down the street
middle of the night, can't get to sleep
i take back i ever drank that black coffee
sometimes i takes a walk outside
to remind me i am alive
you meet me there in the outside air
and speak clearly (so real to me)
walking down the street
i hear the sound of my own feet
a bump in the night
a crack of light
to remind me You are alive
sometimes i takes a step outside
to get (Your) perspective
and see things right
eye opening light
a terrifying sight
You gimme a fright
You gave me new life

(Psalms 8, Psalms 19, 2 Corithians 5:17)
(words: otto, alex & johnny, music: johnny)

06 Hopeful Monsters Are Dying Everyday (1:54)
played by Private First Class

We're all hoping for a beneficial mutation
in our bodies, bodies
Beyond adaptation or variation
of our bodies, bodies
We wanna' take the next step
We wanna' transcend, but
Hopeful monsters are dying everyday

We wanna' breed the new breed
of bodies, bodies
Searching for a mate
who'll thwart the state
that is the fate of our bodies, bodies
They say if anyone can
The "superman" can
Still hopeful monsters are dying!

New creatures in Christ
inherit bodies glorified
yet we carry in our bodies
the Death of Jesus
which is the hope
of life eternal

The hope of glory
We hope in God

(music: Heater Hands words: Otto Bot, Todd Ballard)

07 Wolverine (2:35)
played by Death By Bobcat

he's the wolverine
yeah, the wolverine
he's scary and he's mean
he's hairy, but he's clean
'cause he's the wolverine
yeah, the wolverine
retractable claws
he hardly smies at all
he's teh wolverine
he's teh wolverine
yeah, the wolverine
adamantium laced obones
better leave him alone
'cause he's the wolverine
yeah, the wolverine
he's so far gone
don't know whose side he's on
but Jesus isn't like that
He's loving and He's kind
He's self controlled and disciplined
in body and in mind
'cause He's the Son of God, got crucified and died
and rose again to take my sin
'cause he's the wolverine
oh, the wolverine
Jesus is our milk and He does our body good

(1 Peter 2:2-3, Hebrews 5:12-14, Philippians 2:1-11)
(words: otto & johnny, music: johnny)

08 It Came From Down South (1:29)
played by Mercury Radio Theater

(instrumental)
(music: Heater Hands)

09 I Killed The Checkout Girl (1:55)
played by Neutron Bomb

101 ways to put her on ice
some are cruel and some are nice
if something is buggin' you
then take care of the problem
there'd be so much less
if we'd all just solve'em
"you'll feel so much better,"
i tell myself
but talking to myself
should have been my first clue
(what i think is what i do)
i killed the checkout girl oh-oh
"put her out of her misery,"
is what my hate keeps telling me
kill a mocking bird, kill a friend
kill some time that you could just spend
its a crime of the mind
the blood is shed
even elvis would pronounce her
as good as dead
(aww, have mercy!!)
i killed the checkout girl oh-oh
the other day!
i warned her i had a gun (3x)
i told her i would use it
now wait a minute, wait a minute
i guess i forgot that Christ died for me
the worst of all jerks, it's plain to see
quick and easy, slow and tortured
whichever way that i preferred
with a smile on my face it was hard to tell
that i was in danger of the fires of hell
i tried to blame it on my old man
but my old man is dead and gone
Christ killed him off
but i killed the checkout girl
the other day

(Matthew 5:21-22, 1 John 3:15-16, Romans 6:5-11)
(words: otto, music: corey carleton)

10 Human Fly Trap (Our Hero Escapes From Venus) (2:23)
played by Dietrichs

In the seemingly limitless possibilities
of sicence fiction there are many
Venuses to be explored. Let not this one
be confused with Lewis's transcendant
vision of Perelandra which is referred to
elsewhere on this album. In fact, it is
basically an alternate reality of the
Perelandrian paradise in that it shares
her sensous beauty but not her unfallen
state.

This "evil twin" is not a New Eden,
but a False Eden that entices its islolated
explorers toward self-gratification
which slowly transmogrifies them into a
suitable food for consumption - namely,
the Fly. (And how does this half-human,
half-fly monster escape, you ask?
by eating Jesus, of course!)

Report #1 to Space Station:
"How very breathable the air is here.
My head is clear. I have no fear.
Sensuous is the status
of my sensory apparatus.
My research is going quite well
and I've been getting to know my self
While chasing the planetary standard.
Embracing this land in all her grandeur
with open arms and all five senses
and to her charms I feel defenseless.
But I have dreams where it seems
my body has a fly head
and a fly has my head!
Can't anybody hear that little fly
on the wall screaming?
It's got a tiny human head
screaming, screaming for help!"

A heart to harden
in a carnivorous green garden
of sentient, bionic botany
gigantic mouth closing down on me!

Report #2 to Space Station:
"Can you see me on this communication?
I've changed. I'm a mutation.
A variation of you former friend.
But all you see can see is this
hideous headof a fly!
Don't try to rescue me.
Oh no, no this planet's all my own.
Won't you just leave me alone?
(Who knew this world had teeth?
Into it I go and down beneath.)
Can't anybody hear that little fly
on the wall screaming?
It's got a tiny human head
screaming, screaming for help!"

The following fragment of a transcript was found
in a blood stained notebook lying open near the
scene of carnage. A similarly bloodied stylus was
also found, with which the message was presumably
written.
"If the shuttle is leaving
I'll not be cleaving.
Lord, sever me
from this maw of death.
The same word that describes what I have become
also defines my graciously given means of escape.
To flee. To run away"
FLY!
FLY!
FLY!

(music: Mr. Heat words: Otto)

11 King Of The Beach (1:56)
played by The Night Grows Cold

puffed up so big
you'll snap like a twig
under the exorbitant weight
of his voluminous state
see him basking in glory
'cause he knows he worked for it
watch him bulging and heaving
this big boy ain't leaving
don't even think of tanning
on this part of the sand, man
not even charles atlas
can stand up to his vastness
'cause he's king of the beach
there's non so huge
you challenge, you'll lose
'cause he's bigger and badder
and wider and fatter
there ain't nobody doper
there ain't nobody deffer
if your comin' to this beach
then you can be sure that you'll suffer
he's sweatin' and swingin'
and swooin' the females
nobody can touch him
because he broke all the scales
king of the beach
hey big fella' watcha' doing
under that umbrella
i'm in sand castles i've made
far from rocks in the shade
oh, well that's nice
his mother and father
they don't even bother
'cause he's king of the beach

(Matthew 7:24-29, Psalms 24)
(words: otto, music: corey carleton)

12 Disasteroid (1:19)
played by Our Corpse Destroyed

Disasteroid!
(It's winding down! It's winding down!
It's winding down!)
Your "mechanism" can't organize life at the start
And the universe is ripping apart!
Disateroid!
(It's winding down! It's winding down!
It's winding down!)
Completely catastrophic
Entirely entropic
Nothing or none can stop it!

This world -womb will give birth
to a New Heaven and New Earth

Disasteroid!
(It's burning down! It's burning down!
It's burning down!)
Open system or closed system
Either way you've missed Him who created you
Disasteroid!
(It's burning up! It's burning up! It's burning up!)
In Christ all things consist
By His light you exist another day

You can't change the course of the curse
The transformation will occur
World !
Womb!
In the twinkling of an eye
Mortality will be swallowed up by Life
when the Earth is destroyed!

(music: Hands words: O. Bot)

13 Vac-U-Suc (3:12)
played by Wee Beakers Trousers vs. The Guns of Hairy Nutkins

the forecoming of my vac-u-suck
will make me clean depending
on my trust in You
vac-u-suck my dirty flesh
make me clean and new
everything inside of me
i give it up to You

(Psalms 86:5, Hebrews 10:19-22)
(words & music: johnny)

14 untitled (0:38)

Frankenstein, Frankenstein,
Where, where have you been?
In your laboratory
making something ghastly, gory
In the church yard
digging hard
midst the tombstones
alone with bones
Did you steal the cadaver?
That your son may have her
And thus the monster
will curse his father
Frankenstein, Frankenstein
What have you seen?

15 Frankenstein's Monster Wants A Wife (2:56)
played by Hyperdrive Go

She's much too fresh.
Where did you get her?
No, don't confess
for I must wed her
to my abomination
son of man.

"Doc Frankenstein!"
Who said that?
"Won't you me mine?"
Now, cut that out!
I've got cuttin' to do.
I'm not finished with you.
No chit chat till this is through.

It's no easy operation
to apprehend the apparition,
to make the phantom corporeal,
substantial stuff for us to feel.
Scalpel, please. Make incision.
Scissors! Oh, these quick decisions!
It takes a steady hand...
Curse my monster's sick demands!

How does she look?
Do the scars show?
She's all sewn up
with no place to go,
save on a hellish honeymoon
that ends all too soon
in hell, well...

"Doc Frankenstein!"
Who said that?
"Won't you be mine?"
Baby, how you been?
Oh my, your hand's so cold.
But I'll be bold
and hold it anyhow.

(music: Mr. Heat words: Otto)

16 Tundra Time On Thulcandra (3:28)
played by The Beastly Brutes

Down in the handramit
I wanna' be on the harandra
An alien on this planet
On my way back to Thulcandra

Malacandra on my mind
Perelandra all the time
Nevermind, it's tundra time

Get cozy in the cockpit
Snuggle in the turret
Grunts gotta' make the best of it

Warmth from the blast of the laser cannon
Keeps me goin'
When it won't quit snowin'

Man the console
Console the man

Malacandra on my mind
Perelandra all the time
Nevermind, it's tundra time

South wind blows
We know summer is coming soon
Lightning flashes
We know the Son is coming again

And what will the slient planet, Tellus
tell us when they pull Deep Heaven
down on their heads?
I guess this is life during wartime
when Thulcandra is the battlefield.

(music: Heater Hands words: Otto Bot)

17 MRR (2:25)

the substance of things hoped for!
the evidence of things not seen! (2x)

something breathes beside you in the darkness
the Husband, the King,

18 All The Way to the Blood Bank (4:06)
played by Nobody Elses

he's a vampire! shes's a vapiress! (2x)
you go to the closet to make a deposit
but you find a blank wall
so you make a withdrawal
and you find yourself often
hiding out in your coffin
wishing sunny days would go away
it's hard for the unholy
to make it in the big city

chorus:
deep! deep! deep!
and in! in! in!
my teeth sank
as i, "ha! ha! ha!
ha! ha! ha!"
all the way to the blood bank!

in hollywood you ain't no good
so you step in to the eyeliner diner
and they set you up
with their own red wine
and it all seems fine...
until you get the urge
for a human neck!
but what did you expect?
when you look to a crowd
to help you out
tryin' hard to fit in
and still wind up dyin'

repeat chorus

i beseech the leach!
to suck on me! suck on me! suck on me! (2x)

i want to suck your blood
bleh! bleh! (4x)

vampires!
empires!
vampires!
expire!
"there was so much blood.
i've never seen so much blood."

she's a vapire!
he's a vampiress (2x)
i've got it by the gallon in my refigerator
i'm the undead and i'm not getting any better
and make no mistake
it's not a wooden stake
that'll end this curse
and put this ghoul in a herse
what can wash away my sin?
nothing but the blood of Jesus!

deep! deep! deep!
and in! in! in !
the two edged sword sank
as it rips! shreds! tears!
slash! cuts! slice!
to sever me from the blood bank!
the cross of Christ!
His sacrifice
paid the price
the cross of Christ!
His sacrifice
saved my life!

(words: otto, music: jonny & otto)

19 American Werewolf (4:27)
played by American Culture eXperiments

i'm a suit and tie guy
by the day and the night
but when the full moon croons
i start to sweat and to swoon
my teeth are getting long
my ears are getting pointed
i'm sprouting all this hair
and my knees feel double jointed
i don't want you to see me spill blood
and i don't want you to see me eat flesh
i am an american werewolf! (4x)

i've got a dark secret
i hope i can keep it
lock me in a cell
'cause i don't want to kill again
capitalistic! cannibalistic!
i can't tell the difference
it's a selfish death wish!
why don't you get away from me
can't you see you're not safe with me?
i am an american werewolf! (4x)

cursed is he who hangs on a tree
Jesus became a curse for you!
american werewolf!
you gotta' eat His flesh
you gotta' drink His blood
He shed His blood to cover you!
american werewolf!

(words: otto, music: jonny)

20 Mutinous Wonderflesh vs. The Body Under The Head
(Otto Bot's Poem) (2:18) (*dig release bonus track)

The wonderflesh was everywhere; everywhere loved, everywhere worn. Shorn of torn to shreds its well-worn threads grew back -- radically ineradicable in sheer brilliance of resilience. Reproductionist-reductionist, it procreated prolifically, specifically more of itself, more wonderflesh for everyone. What is it? Nobody knows, And we wondered where it came from.

But the wonderflesh took over, won without a fight (we swore there was no war), fought without an army. And we smiled and smouldered in the embers, angry if shaken from our slumbers, sullen and swollen in our chambers. Ah yes, the wonderflesh was more or less the meaning of life! The sight of it eclipsed all else in its self-same starkness! Its light became our darkness.

But also it is said:

There was a head. There was a body. (The head came first-the body burst forth later.) What eyes and mouth it had, the head! The things it said! The way it sees seized us. Our skin was seen as the sickly green we were trickily keen to ignore. It saw us for what we are and told us so. Only so far we followed, though, then swallowed hard and rejected it. The head expected such it seemed. And how our hearts burned as word-flames were catching us -- cuss-love-words redly etching threadbare soul-stitching. But our wonderflesh was itching.

We hated the head. We made it dead. We planted it low, but it recanted the deathblow. It came back panting, breath flowed fresh, flesh glowed new, showed scars of truth -- proof of love. And what's this? It had a body -- dancing! Yes, she came up fighting, igniting undying life in her kiss. And the body grapples with the wonderflesh yet, strips strapped down persons before they worsen. Looks to the head alive to thrive and drive all wonderflesh under blood shed to shape bodies afresh. 'Yes, glorious bodies are coming!' she cries. and I wonder, do those eyes look at me? Is it mouthing to me? It is time. I shall go and see.
